Exclude drop down values or words from Translation to Local Language
We are using the Language package that translate all text to the local language.
The customer wants drop values to remain in English and not the local language.
We tried creating Field Value: pyCaption Translate From: Local Lang To: English containing translated drop down values hoping another translation to English would occur but did not work.
Is there a way to identify strings with a special character to not translate or is there a option to not translate certain values?

This is a really good question. I don't know if this will work, but what if you try wrapping the dropdown in its own section, and then on the section's HTML tab, uncheck localize?
