Error: Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.Interop.IVsTaskList2
When upgraded the Pega Packages in the system & facing an error "Couldn't reference to Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.Interop.IVsTaskList2" & please need a solution.

Try the below steps,
- Start command prompt as ADMIN
- Change directory to product installation folder
- Run OpenSpan.Studio.Shell.exe /setup
- Start command prompt as USER (non-admin)
- Change directory to product installation folder
- Run PkgMEFUpdater.exe /V:8.0 /Pega

Close Studio. Open a command prompt and change the current directory to the OpenSpan installation folder. Then execute this command --- PkgMEFUpdater.exe /V:8.0 /Pega

Hello,
we are facing the same issue after upgrading to latest Pega Studio version. The above steps didnt help solve the error for us. We also tried deletign all temp files and reinstalling.
The strange thing is that the error appears only when we run Studio on our Virtual machine. When IT dept. runs the Virtual machine on their side everything is working fine.
What exactly is causing this error, and what could be done to solve it?
Edit: The Studio works when we "Run as Administrator"
