Our current application has specific property encryption using an access control rule, we send updates to customers via email using the OOTB Pega process for emails CorrSend/SendSimpleEmail. Before we send an email we decrypt our encrypted properties onto transient properties then send.
Recently we have discovered that Pega is storing these emails in the Data-Corr-Email class in plain text including the email body. The attached screenshot shows two encrypted properties first name and last name.
We are unable to find a way around this issue with impacting Pega final rules and also without impacting the case attachments, for example if we encrypt the values in Data-Corr-Email, when email attachments are downloaded they are in the encrypted format.
Can the values in the Data-Corr-Email be encrypted or is this unsupported by Pega currently?

@JasonL2134 One option is to check for any extension to this process. Is there any data transform or activity which can be extended, if not. Then the only option I see is to customize the final rules and add the extension points to it in an override ruleset. Then share this feedback with Pega for future extension to these rules which will solve your issue of customization in future.
