Email verification on click of link in the email

I am trying to implement verify email functionality.

Requirement: From Pega I send an email to reciepients , which will have some link in it. when the user clicks on the link in the email, I want to mark the status of the email id verified in Pega .

I thought of using Assign-External (DWA) but that needs creation of Operator id for each email recipient.
