Email upon submission of CR in Revision Mgr

Not sure if this is the forum for the question. When a Strategy Designer submits a CR back to the Revision Mgr, does an email get triggered to the Revision Mgr to make them aware the work item has been assigned back to them for approval. Or is this something that needs to be configured?
