Email Automaton Pega Robotics
Hi All,
Is there any possibility to connect Outlook mail, through Remote Desktop.
I've Pega Robotics Studio installed in Remote Server, trying to connect to Outlookmail (Which was installed in local machine) through automation.

Thx grona. . By following the process mentioned in the link shared by you only I am trying to connect to email (Outlook).
Getting error like
"Error on BeforeStart() of Design Component: Mail_Automation. Project may not operate correctly
Microsoft Office2010 is not present."
I think I am getting this error because MS office was installed in my local machine, and I am trying to automate mail through Remote machine (Where there is no MS office installed)
Could you pls suggest any Idea how to connect mail through remote desktop to Local. . I think it is possible through POP3 server. . but for this to proceed forward I've no idea . .

Robotics can only work with applications that exist on the local machine that it is installed on. It needs access to the application files in order to inject and automation applications. For that reason, it is not possible to access outlook on the local machine with Robotics installed remotely. You probably need to setup an email server on the Robotics installed machine in order to retrieve the email and go through it.
