Dynamic Footer in Generated Word?
The new Collaboration Center forums are infuriating.

How can we generate a Word file with dynamic content in the footer?

The first link referenced was pointing to an internal Pega site which would never have been available - we will look to removing that reference.

The article was written for Pega 7.1.6 and may therefore no longer be relevant for you.
I would therefore suggest if you still need help that you log a 'Question' of type 'Product' (rather than selecting ' Discussion' ) and we will tag the User Experience teams for this 'how to design' question which may involve the use of MS Word macros to achieve what you are after.

@MarijeSchillern Thanks, Marije. I have clicked that button before, but it just seems to go off into the ether (and it was not clear if it was flagging the specific page I was looking at). The real problem is threads that are still marked as SOLVED, but the solution is via a broken link.

I wanted to follow up on this and it appears that the link didn't have the full URL on the backend but we fixed it and you can now get to that Support Article directly.
Contact a Moderator form goes directly to the Moderators email address. We did receive your email yesterday after hours and hadn't had a chance to reply before you wrote this post. But please know that as long as you choose the Collaboration Center option in the drop-down, that it does come straight to our team.

@KirkH944 The suggestions in that thread did not solve our issue. The instructions for the macro change are not possible due to the file type limitations on the Word Template upload.
I also saved the downloaded .docx file, renamed it as .zip and extracted the contents to search for the values that we were attempting to merge into the footer. The values are nowhere to be found, so it does not seem to be simply a matter of updating the fields manually (which also does not work).
