Dropdown sourced from data page - Read only

I have a dropdown sourced from a datapape containing code as well as description.

Property for value: Code

Property for display text: Description

My dropdown property has a value and is read only but on the UI, I am seeing the code displayed rather than the description.

Ex) Code: IN, Description: India

Instead of seeing India, I see "IN" displayed in the screen. In the contrary, the dropdown works fine if it is editable.

Hello Priya,

Can you please share the configuration screen shots of the dropdown field and also let us know if the source of the data page is an ootb data?

Also let us know the version of Pega used.

Source of datapage is not a OOTB data and herewith attached configuration screens.

Version: Pega 7.2.1

Please select the "Display text of selected option" in presentation tab for Read-only value. 

Its working for me after above changes.

There was a space issue which failed the data page conversion of code to description. The issue is solved.
