DR for Kafka in Pega 8.4.2

Hi,

How DR scenarios are handled for Kafka in Pega8. Kafka replicates messages across nodes. But in our scenario all the nodes are in one data-center and the DR nodes in another Data center and only one will be active at a time. In such scenario how the fail over works for Kafka messages during DR.

Hi Kevin,

Do you have any inputs on this problem. During the DR, how Pega8 work if the failover servers are on a different private sub net. Should we open up the kafka enabled ports on servers of both sites so that the replication is always on?
