Download Attachments attached to work object on click of link sent via email

Hi,

I have a requirement to download attachments attached to a work object whose key will be sent as a link to user via email. I am able to send email with work object key but on click the case is opened and seen but attachment is not downloaded. Please help if i have missed any configuration. I see pyattachments pagelist in the opened case as well.
