Does PERSONA access conflict with Access Groups, ARO and Previleges?

Hi,

 

In Pega 8 , the concept of "Persona" has been introduced. 

Does the configuration of PERSONA access conflict with Access Groups, ARO and Previleges?

Take an example of an already existing application in lower Pega versions with Access controlled by Access Groups, AROs etc. In such a scenario, upgrading to 8.6 version and creating new Personas would have conflicts with  the existing Access rules? Which among these take the priority?
