Does Pega support the generation of WADL from a Service?
Hello,
I found a few posts from 2 - 3 years ago (https://collaborate.pega.com/question/how-generated-wadl-file-rest-service-hosted-pega) regarding Pega developed services supporting the generation of a WADL file if queried. With the new Pega Platform versions, the swagger is a good help for developers to understand about the Service but programmatic understanding, via WADL, was usually done in the past.
I am curious is there is a technical reason that Pega, after 2-3 years, still does not support WADL.
I expect there is a valid reason but would like to know why. (Is it industry specific or technical in nature?)

Hi Marissa,
no worries; with the 2 Big Pega news this week, I suspected you and the team were busy.
I looked through the guide and nothing jumps out for me. I also suspect its a deeper technical implementation within Pega. If I were to guess (but could be wrong), it would be related to the connector and service REST/JSON capabilities.
