Does pega support client side formatting ?
I have a requirement to autoformat SSN while the user entering in the field. xxx-xx-xxxx
eg : if the user enters 123, immediately it should add "-" in the next character, the same way after the next two digits it should change to 123-45-. In the javascript applications, this can be achieved easily with the script.
Does pega supports client side formatting with only number in clipboard without format,
Do we have any approach to achieve this in pega ?
can we add a custom javascript to format specific field while user entering in the form?
Appreciate any leads from UI experts. thank you

Yes this client side validation will work in pega . Create the text file with the java script and include that in the harness .what ever the class you have mentioned in the script call that on the presentation tab==> advanced option ==> Read & Write Class

yes editinput works
one more requirement we have that is user can enter only 9 number maximum and format should look like 123-45-6789
when we use editinput first time it is formatting properly and when second instance if user want to change last digit, they cannot change as it is already have 9 numbers and +2 (-) total 11 and maximum limit on property is 9.
can we show format on screen level and clipboard hold only number in pega ?
