Does Pega 7.3.1 support JBOSS EAP 7.2 ?
Hi Team,
Currently we are using Pega 7.3.1 deployed on JBoss EAP 7.0.
However, JBoss 7.0 and 7.1 have been superseded by 7.2 and there are limitations on the support for JBoss versions 7.0 and 7.1.
Considering this, can we check if by any chance does Pega 7.3.1 support JBOSS EAP 7.2?

What specific features in JBoss EAP 7.2 you specifically need? I did relay your question to the SME but wanted to clarify the business requirements.

Hi Kevin,
Sorry for the delay in my reply.
We are not looking for any specific features of JBoss EAP 7.2. JBoss 7.0 and 7.1 has been superseded by 7.2. Versions 7.0 and 7.1 will no longer receive security updates from Red Hat. So for all critical applications we want to upgrade to latest supported versions and hence JBoss.

The last version of JBoss Redhat EAP that was tested was 7.1. After that, Pega switched to testing JBoss EWS (Enterprise Web Server). EWS 2.0 was supported from Pega versions 7.1 through 7.3.1, for WAR installations only. EWS 3.0 was supported beginning in Pega 7.3 and going through Pega 8.3, again, for WAR installations only.
StackOverflow states that "JBoss Web Server is a server used to deploy web applications, whereas EAP is an application server which can be used also to deploy Java EE compatible applications. EAP gives many more features like messaging, RMI, EJB etc. apart from features provided by Web Server. Which one is better will depend on your use case."
