Do Pegasystems guarantee that types applied for counter purposes in database will not overflowed?

Hi team!

Our chief enterprise architect is performing some risk assessments procedures and asked us about potentials problems is Pega Platform. Probems with potential overflows in database columns used for counters or some requences in Pega Platform. We use 7.2.2 and 8.2.3 versions.
