Displaying error message when selected a wrong file.

HI,

When the user attaches a file in attachment button and if the file is not in PDF or Word format i want to display an error message.

And can you guys elaborate it. I am new to pega

@SuryavamsiR hello,

Take CallVirusCheck activity in to your ruleset and check if pyFileExtension have your format(May be with decision table if you have many valid formats), if valid extension continue, otherwise set Param.VirusCheckStatus to "Virus-Invalid File Extension" value.

@SuryavamsiR You can create a decision table which will have pyFileExtension column and it should return true if the pyFileExtension is valid format, Use this decision table in when condition and set Param.VirusCheckStatus to "Virus-Invalid File Extension" if when condition returns false.
