Disable mobile view

Issue:

We want to ALWAYS show the desktop version of the pega application.

 

Possible solutions could probably be:

  • Disable responsiveness?
  • Force pixel width/height of harness
  • ...

Take the following steps to have a great start:

  1. Add a Datatransform:"DisableEverythingMobile" to Activity:"PreDisplayHarness".
  2. In your Datatransform:"DisableEverythingMobile", add the following steps:
    1. When -- pxThread.pxPortal=="YourPortal"   (define your portal, otherwise all portals and harnesses will be affected!!)
    2. Set -- pxRequestor.pxIsMobileClient == false
    3. Set -- pxRequestor.pyIsMobile == false
    4. Set -- pxRequestor.pxIsMobileDevice == false
    5. Set -- pxRequestor.pxDeviceType == "desktop"
  3. Disable the following When rules:
    1. When:"pyIsMobilePhone"
    2. When:"pyIsIOS"
  4. Now optimize the responsive design of your application.
