Disable Default PRWEB or Point to Custom Authentication

I need to disable the default prweb servlet or have prweb perform custom authentication. Any help is appreciated on setting up the servlet mapping in web.xml.

FYI, I checked older posts for prweb disabling and all point to commenting out WebStandard which is not part of the web.xml in 8.1+.
