Dirty pop up warning message not displayed when clicking away from perform harness to any link in portal navigation
Hi,
We have some fields in the perform harness that user can edit, with Cancel/Save buttons.
If user edits/updates a field and tries to click outside perform harness without Save , then we need to show dirty read warning message to save or cancel to continue.
I am trying to enforce this by setting pega.u.d.gDirtyOverride=true on change of the field , but when clicked outside harness its not showing any pop up warning.
Most of the existing articles are not clear on the solution.

To display a dirty read warning message when a user tries to navigate away from the perform harness without saving, you can configure the native browser dirty form. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Open the UserWorkForm HTML Fragment rule in Dev Studio.
2. On the HTML tab, in the HTML Source section, add the following code snippet within a script tag: pega.u.d.bUseNativeDirtyConfirm = true;
This configuration will enable the native browser dirty form, which will display a confirmation modal dialog box when a user tries to navigate away from the perform harness without saving their changes.

As always, if you believe you have configured the application as per the documentation and you believe it is not working correctly please log a support ticket via the MSP.

Thanks for the response.
I did add pega.u.d.bUseNativeDirtyConfirm = true; in the userworkform , in a specific function and calling that function on change of rich text editor within perform harness. But this did not work.
Is there anything I am missing or is the placment of the script wrong in userworkform ?
