Difference between Pega Robotics 8.0 SP1 and 8.0.1101
Received a notification during the last weekend that Service Pack 1 for Pega Robotics 8.0 has been released. Could someone please throw more light on the difference between between 8.0 SP1 vs 8.0.1101 (latest build currently)? Are there any considerations for each of them?

8.0 SP1 and 8.0 will go forward as separate branches.
Both branches will continue to have cumulative builds. However, new features will go into 8.0 SP1 only. Maintenance fixes will go into both branches as required.

Thanks, Srinivas. It shows the changes in 8.0.1101. I also see the new features in SP1. However, I would like to know the basic difference b/w them. Is there any advantage/limitation of SP1 over 8.0.1101?

Just to repeat MuruganH's question, is there anyone in the Pega Community who can shed some light on the basic difference between SP1 and 8.0.1101? If there is any advantage/limitation to SP1 over 8.0.1101?
Thanks,
Tim

New features in SP1 include:
- Support for FIPS
- Updating the ABBYY software installed on the machine for OCR features
- Adding support for Java within the UI Connector framework
- Support for Windows Server 2016
- Enhancements for MS Windows 10. Included here is the separation of the Pega Native Foundation which you will notice upon installation of SP1. The Native Foundation contains our core pieces that interact with the operating systems and applications that we support. By separating this out, we can respond in a much quicker fashion to changes in the operating system (like a new MS security update). Specifically, we will be able to update the Pega Native Foundation pieces without adjusting your Studio / Runtime version which will make it quicker/easier for customers to push out Native Foundation updates without having to recompile your packages.
Bug fixes will be applied to the 8.0 branch as needed. New features will be merged into 8.0 SP1.
Hope this helps!

Great! Thanks, Becky. So, it looks like the go forward approach is to use SP1 (which includes the separation of the Pega Native Foundation). Would there be separate branches then (with and without this separation - SP1 and updated builds respectively) or is there a plan to port these new features to the normal cumulative builds also?
