Deprecated embedded microservices
Hi,
according to this page Kafka, Hazelcast, Elastic Search and Cassandra are depricated for embedded use. Externalization of services in your deployment (pega.com)
Just to be sure if we upgrade onto version 23.1.2 on VM based it is still be possible to use those services as embedded function, correct?

@MarvinH7 a client advisory was sent out in May to all user roles at on-premises and client managed cloud accounts: we are extending the support for embedded Hazelcast until Infinity ’25.
As Hazelcast is the one component that Pega will continue to provide to you for use with Pega applications, we determined to make this process a bit simpler for you: we will continue to offer support for embedded Hazelcast in 24.2. You do not have to externalize Hazelcast until our Infinity ‘25 release.
Please Note
This extension is for embedded Hazelcast only. Cassandra, Kafka, and Elasticsearch must still be externalized by the Infinity ’24.2 release.
Exception
Some clients have reported certain situations to our support organization, where externalized Hazelcast would actually improve operational stability. In those cases, we do recommend externalizing Hazelcast for those clients. For details on these cases, see our Support Document Known Issues with Embedded Hazelcast Deployments.
