Deprecate Features: Concise list?
Hi,
Is there a concise list of deprecated features across versions of Pega PRPC? We're working on upgrading an application to 7.2.2 from Pega 6.2 (and that was originally developed in 4.x). There are many deprecated features still in use, and it would be very handy to see what was deprecated and as of which version.
I see the individual lists in the specific version documentation, but there are clearly some items missing, such as the WorkArea control.
Also, the indicators for deprecated controls seem inconsistent. If we take the WorkArea control as an example (viewing the rule's XML), I can see that the pyDeprecated value is "false," but the HTML for the control contains "The Work Area control has been deprecated."

However, none of them list the WorkArea control as being deprecated. I've found some other controls not listed, as well, but what they are is escaping me at the moment. So I would say these lists are incomplete. It would also be nice to have a single list with items marked as to which version they became deprecated (the newer lists seem to include the items in the older ones, but the 7.2.2 version is in a slightly different format/order).

seems to have a more complete list of the depracate UI controls (see page 7).

Hello!
The status of the above documentation feedback request has been updated. The documentation team advises us to Refer to this document: Pega 7 Platform UI Element Upgrade Guide which also has the WorkArea listed under page 7. There is no consideration (owing to certain internal decisions) of another document which lists the changes from release to release.
