Decommission OpenSpan STS

We have migrated STS for Workforce Intelligence to a new set of servers. What is the best way to shutdown/decommission STS on the old servers? Those servers are being used by other applications but STS was the only app listening to 443.

We would suggest the following steps:

1)  Create new STS server

2)  Point a couple pilot users to the new STS servers to confirm all configuration settings

3)  Once new servers are confirmed working, move all users to the new STS server and allow both to run for a short period

4)  Once new servers are confirmed working, turn off the old STS Server for a week or two

5)  Once the new servers have been confirmed to be 100% Operational, uninstall the STS service from the old server.
