Declare Index not adding new columns in databse (new property added to the class in pega platform)

Hi Pega Community,

I am facing an issue where my new properties are not being created as new columns in the existing PR_INDEX_XX_XX Table.

Currently I have 2 properties, but I would need to add 1 more.

After creating the new property in PEGA Platform 8.3.5, it does not create the columns in the PEGADATA (pegabase) database.

 

Do i need to expose the columns (optimize for reporting) to create the columns?

Any alternatives instead of doing that?

 

Anyone can assist me?

Yes, you will need to optimize those additional properties in Index- class. Alternative will be to run the query to add those columns in the table directly by executing the SQL in the DB end. If you optimize the additional benefit will be that for the existing instances value will be populated from Blob.
