Declare expression field needs to be in editable mode
I have created a declare expression for a Date field to calculate the date based on some criteria and users wants to manually change the date also.
Even though if I select editable in presentation tab of the date time field its displaying in read only mode.
I have chosen "Regardless of any pages it contains in" the context execution behavior of the declare expression.
Is there any way to make the date field editable in UI ?
We are using Pega 7.2 version

Why would you want / need a property that this set via a declare expression to be editable? Are you trying to default the value for the property? If so, I think that maybe the declare expression is not the solution that you are looking for.

If you want property to be editable then don't use the declareexpression. You can calculate default value with different machanisim(use data transform or activity).
