"Datetime Difference" function in report definition

Hello,

We would like to have a column in our report definition where we would like to calculate the difference in DAYS between two datetime properties. But, some times this function is giving NEGITIVE values like -2222+ etc in few cases.

Please advice.

Thanks for your reply.

I am into defect management, trying to track that issue out. So, i am checking each and every parameter. I am not sure they are passing correcly. I am checking that.

Hi Ramesh,

I tried to calculate the Difference in days between two date time properties function as shown in the attachment and it is returning the results correctly. If you are passing the two property values to the function then may be you can look into the dates of those records which are displaying negative values in the report definition if you might have included those 2 properties like mine.

Hope this way you can figure out the root cause of your issue.

Hello Mahesh,

Thanks for your response.

I RUN the property like you, but its yelding negitive results in some cases(I got 3 cases like that, all the values are same).

@Ramesh, you can cross check those 2 datetime values in the clipboard for those 3 cases and check why it is returning the negative values.
