Date type Parameter in activities
How to configure a Date type parameter, which can have a Calendar control for a standalone activity.
I want to run an activity on Developer Portal from Action--> Run. I have a parameter as inputDate with Data type as Date. When I run this activity I want to select Date from the Calendar control. How can I achieve this?

If my understanding of your query is correct, you want to change the Parameter's Value field to Calender control (Refer below).
Please rectify me, if my understanding doesn't go smoothly with your query.
I don't think so, these values are fetched from .pyParametersParamName property in the "pxRunParametersDefault" section.
Reason:-
. This rule is final so, we can't change the parameter passing section i.e "pxRunParametersDefault ". And even if just for testing you do a "Private Edit" of the section and try to change control of "pyParametersParamName" property as DateTime from "pzRuleCallParam" (OOTB).
It won't work, as pzRuleCallParam control is having custom codes which post the value to the OOTB activities.
Alternatively, you can write a custom calendar control with the code present in "pzRuleCallParam" rule.
It would be tedious.

Also, could you share why you want calendar control as input to run the standalone activity from Developer portal?
You can achieve similar requirement, by calling your activity from UI screen embedded with a DateTime control with Calendar option.
