Date In Dropdown
Hi,
I want to display Date in Dropdown. Dates are coming from data Page. The source of data page is Activity.
By default all the dates are displaying without any "/" or "-" like this 20220630
I want to display date with "/" in dropdown in MM/dd/yyyy .
I tried calling activity and data transform on change event, but till all dates are displaying like this only.
Anyone can help me

@AbhishekC1725 Can try loading the data page with two values, one for original date value format which is (yyyyddMM) and the other is the formatted value which needs to be displayed in the dropdown (MM/dd/yyyy - make use of RUF @FormatDateTime(Param.InputDate+"T000000.000 GMT","MM/dd/yyyy","IST","").
In the dropdown you can configure to show the formatted property in the display text and original date property in the value also in the presentation tab of the dropdown make sure "Display text of selected option" is selected for the field "Read-only value"

Using Data transform on change event of Dropdown
Expression Builder -> @DateTime.FormatDateTime(.<Property_Name>,"MM/dd/YYYY",null,null)

@AbhishekC1725 You don't have to write an on change event. You can try these 2 approaches:
1. As explained earlier, while loading the data page apart from the original date value maintain one more property which has the formatted value and on the dropdown control mention these 2 properties one for display and another for original value.
2. In the presentation tab of the dropdown control under the Read-Only Format mention type as Date and Date format as custom and in the Custom data format you can give the format which you want to be displayed.

@BhanuPrakash_G Hi , Task done, for Data page I change source to report definition and then use data transform.
