Data page source option

You want to create a data page with a list of available shipping options. The shipping options are stored in a database table mapped in the application. Which source option would you select for the data page?

1)  Report definition

2)  Service

One site says it is 2.  Please explain, why not 1.  Thanks.

The answer would be 1.

As the database table is in our application, we can use a report definition to get the list of results.

We use the connector to get the results from external applications. And there is no option of "Service" in the source for the Data page.

If the database table is in your Pega application, then Report Definition is the way to go.
