We have configured the lifecycle and as per the configuration we setup the entry and exit conditions per state and proposition combination.  As the PF are used to evaluate the entry criteria for the states, it is always has to be linked with an action? Can't we define the state for a customer irrespective of the states?

When looked at the generated strategies they make use of this decision data CustomerStatesJoin , I was expecting this decision data will be updated with the mapping of propositions with the states from UI. Which is not happening. Are we missing something here and is there a page detailing implementation of customer journey more detailed?
