Custom When conditions are not invoking on button actions
Hi All,
We are showing some grid which has multiple checkboxes in harness by using temporary page and we have added custom button with below actions to validate or to close the popup.
1. Run activity which will perform validations on check box selection.
2. Refresh this section if validations fails in action1.
3. Close the window when there is no validation failure in action1.
So in action1 i am updating flag when ever validation fails and referred this flag in action2 and action3. when we use above flag property directly as below or through when condition action2, action3 are not executing.
We are using pega 7.2.2. Please letus know any OOTB issues exists.

Thanks for reply. We are using 7.2.2 and we have only otherproperty or whencondition. Both of the options are not working.

For quick fix why don't you try as below
1. Refresh- Call ReloadSection within activity by a condition
2. Function Close- method Call-Function within activity by a condition

Call function method can be used for java functions. I am not sure we can close window from javafuction's. If you have such function/code please share

Hi, Another option using javascript instead. For your button action call a javascript method. In that method call the activtity you want and using "show-Property" in that activity set output where javascript method would receive it. Use that value to check your conditions and call reloadsection or close.

1) pega.u.d.doClose
2) top.window.close()

Hi Chithra,
Thanks for detail reply. We have used similar kind of script and used conditions in scrept to close the window are reload the section from activity using reloadsection section activity by passing section name. It worked but some times screen is not reflecting the validation messages.
Finally we have created one placed holder flow and launched with Flow in modal dialog action . So all the functionality handled with assignment.
