Custom section not showing the Form level error properly
Hi
We have a created a section and there we embedded pega OOTB section "HarnessErrorList" to display the error messages.We added the section in the harness to display the messages. But all the form level error messages are coming in one line and field level error in another line.Please see the attached file.
We are using Pega 7.1.8

Hello Deepak,
Can you please include the @baseclass.Errors section instead of HarnessErrorList section and verify the behavior once.

Hi Praveen,
Error list is coming sequentially but it's coming on top of main screen and screen is completely messed up.
One question- If we use default option then error list is coming properly but both in Top and Below of the harness. Can we pass some parameter and hide the error message in below of the Harness.

You can either use the Top of Harness option or try including the @baseclass.Errorlist section in the custom error section.

Hi Sarab,
If we use "Top Of Harness" then it's coming in top of the Portal and user is not able to see the header. Also there is cross button in middle of the error section.See attached print screen.
If we use Error list then screen is not coming properly.Fonts are very small.See attached screen shot.
If we use default option then error list is coming properly i.e error section is displayed after header of the portal. But it's coming both in top and below of the Harness and screen is not rendered properly. Please see the attached screen shot.

Hello Dipak,
Did you added the @baseclass.Errors section at toplevel in your harness. if not add the error section at top level.
Otherwise take, Perform harness as reference and verify the your custom harness configuration.
