Custom schema name
Hi All,
We have a test environment where Pega8.1.3 was installed . Due to some issue with corrupted tables, we were forced to clear the data and rules schema from database and reinstalled same version of pega. At the time of reinstalling, we gave custom names for rules and data schema and Pega installation was successful. In what all places do we need to refer the new schema names in order to make the pega portal working?

Hi,
You would need to change the schema name in context.xml if you using tomcat.
I would recommend to check the installation guide for your server and DB and make any other changes mentioned.

I have updated context.xml with new schema names and restarted tomcat. But portal is not up and running. Any other suggestions?

It is not able to use the provided schema details. Cross check the user and credential.
Any changes you made to prbootstrap.properties?
Redeploy the war and see if you seeing the same error.

I found one issue with context.xml file. I have updated the context.xml file with new schema names but after some time it is defaulted to old schema names.

So you can check with server team why is that happening. Once you provide correct details it will work.
Just cross check prbootstrap.properties if any mistake is present there.
If any doubt redeploy the war.
