Currency issue in word document generation

Hi,

Am generating word document where am referring currency field in Grid. 

Generated document correctly shows the value for $ but doesn't work for € and £.

It shows â‚¬ for Euro and Â£ for Pound.

Does anybody faced this issue and have fix for this?
