copy and paste
if we copy and paste the validation is not happening and if we manually enter its working fine please resolve my issue please.

@MS91781 there is a field on UI with Some validations ok if we enter a valid value manually no error if we copy and paste it in that field exactly what we manually typed it is throwing validation error.
it should throw that error only if we enter invalid manually or copy and paste value but i dont know if we type manually no issue if we copy and paste it is throwing error ??
i hope this is clear if not let me know i will make word doc and send it here

I could suspect that hidden spaces are also captured while copy and paste the data. Please try using @trim function, on UI filed, in validation rule before triggering the validate rule. It may resolve issue.
If copied text does not contain any special characters ever, try
- @stripSpecialChars
- @(Pega-RULES:String).stripNonAlphabeticChars()

@MS91781 Yes they are some hidden spaces while you are doing copy paste. Better to copy in a note pad and Check it.If any remove it and copy it and paste it in the UI
