Content Search is not working in 8.2.2 version
All content search is not working when we are searching a rule from the search baner of Dev Studio. We are facing another issue: if we are making indexing/distributed/search_enabled DSS as true then the basic rules earch is also not working. If we make this DSS as false, then the basic search is working with [limited results] but the drop dows on search baner is not coming.
We have done the Re-index of rule and data records. It is showing 'Available' but Primary SIze and Total SIze is showing as 0.00 MB. Is there any problem with configuration?
We are not able to search data instances from Search banner as well. Please suggest

If this is on prem, I suggest trying to bring down the index host nodes (all at the same time), delete the contents of the index directories, then bringing them back one by one. This will allow the indexes to rebuild from scratch in case there was any issue impacting them.
Be sure to have all yours nodes using this JVM argument as well: -Dindex.directory=<index_directory>
Index host nodes should have a value, and all other nodes should not have a value (but still need the JVM arg). This ensures that there are no unexpected changes.
