Thanks for the response Praveen.
1) I have tried with Property as shown below.
when i try to save section, got below error.
2) I have gone through the both reference links you have provided.
https://docs-previous.pega.com/how-use-parameters-section-rules
Above URL explains about how we can implement in V5.4SP2, but the same approach is not working in 7.3.1

Above URL suggests that there is a defect in the Pega product, would you please suggest how can we achieve in 7.3 / 7.4? or raising SR is the only way?

Hi Venkatesh,
Can you attach the screenshot showing how and from where you are passing this parameter to the section.
Also please let us know the version of Pega that you are using.
Basically you have two options to pass the parameter to a section:
Standard
— Parameter values are supplied at runtime by a parameter clipboard page.Advanced
— Parameter values are based on specialized gadgets to support landing page operations.
Please check the below for the same:

Hi Venkatesh,
I have configured everything based on your description in same Pega version and got the same error.
It looks like a bug and you can raise a Support request to get this thing fixed.

Hi Venkatesh,
Can you please share the screenshot of the activity or data transform where you are setting the value and passing it to section? Because I have implemented the same thing, and that was working fine.
For this you can take the references of these article -
