Connect-FTP issue- Permission Denied
Hi All,
We are facing a Permission Denied error while a Connect FTP even though all connections to the FTP server look fine. Below is a sample log entry-
2019-08-16 04:05:03,021 [l-threads-796229715)] [ STANDARD] [ ] [ XXXX:01.01.01] (oFTP.Rule_Admin_Extract.Action) ERROR - ERR_XX0001: File Transfer Failed :/appdata/Pega/BIX/ReportingExtracts/XXXX/XXXReport.csv Error working with local path: '/appdata/Pega/BIX/ReportingExtracts/XXXX/XXXXReport.csv', Permission denied.
Any quick inputs on what might be going wrong here?

Looking at your log, I think issue is maybe locally and not on the FTP :
Error working with local path: '/appdata/Pega/BIX/ReportingExtracts/XXXX/XXXXReport.csv', Permission denied.

Cross check that the local and remote path directories/folders are having necessary permissions to access and executed from pega side.

The remote path has all required read and write privileges. We have confirmed that multiple times over.
The connectivity status of the FTP server is also successful but still we are receiving the error.

Does the local path in the rule form has a single quote (') before and after the file path? If so, can you try removing them to see if it makes any difference?

Please let us know if your issue has been fixed and what is the root cause? Is it fixed by changing any configurations in sftp?
