Concurrent login prevention

Hi,

I understand that Concurrent login prevention is available OOTB in 7.3.

Also, I understand that we can use jmx call to check other nodes to see whether the user has logged in or not for prior versions.

May I know if anyone has implemented this in the above way or any other way? What is the complexity and any issue faced?

Thanks for all the replies, for the time being, I would prefer to upgrade to 7.3 than any form of workaround to minimize any potential impact.
