CLSA 7.4 to CLSA 8 transition
Hi Team,
Now CLSA 7.3/7.4, we have Readiness(R), Architecture(A) and App Build(B) exams?
What will happen when CLSA next version comes into play?
I have following queries
Q1. Candidate clears R and A, but not attempted B. Whether he needs to write all 3 exams for CLSA 8?
Q2. Candidate clears R and A but given an attempt to B and failed. In this case he need to write all 3 exams or only build?
Q3. Candidate clears only R. Whether he can continue another 2 like A and B when CLSA 8 comes?
When the guidelines for CLSA 7.4 to CLSA 8 transition will be published.

Hi Anil,
The certification team ([email protected]) is responsible for the criteria however they have not yet released the official information regarding CLSA8.x certification path. The information presented below has been proposed:
There will be no Readiness exam (R) in v8.x. It will be replaced with a badge to complete the SSA advanced training (no exam). Call this (RB) for the discussion below.
The requirements are RB, A and B must all be completed in the same version. This answers your questions 1,2,3 above. If a candidate has partially completed the certification in v7.x, any accomplishments do not apply towards v8.x certification. They must complete all in the same version.

What is the last date to use the free CLSA 7.3/4 app build voucher that was given to us? Can we give app build using this free voucher untill 18-Dec-2019? This was part of the accelerated LSA certification which came up during June this year.

Yes, the voucher is valid until Dec 18th. You are encouraged to attempt the App build exam ASAP since this will increase the likelihood of completing the grading before the deadline. This will give you another chance to retake the exam if you do not pass on the first attempt.

If cleared Readiness in 7.4 , does that not making much difference in next version? Because I believe it is prerequisite to proceed with the steps.

That is correct, however the majority of the information is still valid with the next version therefore that knowledge and achievement would still hold value.
