ClickByText is not working
Hi, I meet problems while using ClickByText method -- it finds target element, thinks that is clicking it (method Result returned is True), but in fact, it doesn't click it.
All of that you can see in gif attached:
- Start Debugging
- App is opened
- "App Opened" message shows
- ClickByText highlightes the target element ("Панель Бендера")
- "True" result message shows (but target element was not clicked!)
- I manually click the target element few times for demonstrating the effect (new panel shows)

Just updated Pega Robotics Studio to version 8.0.2003.0 -- nothing changed, ClickByText still highlights but not clicks the item selected by text.

I've found some C:\Users\svc_rpa\AppData\Roaming\OpenSpan\Studio_Log4Net.txt - hope it's what you've asked about.
Switched Tools | Options | Pega Robotics | Studio Diagnostics | Log Categories | All Categories to Verbose
All non-empty log columns for automation execution are attached in studio-log.txt

Hi Konstantin,
Where can I find the runtime log? On [Tools | Log Viewer] I get "LogViewer.exe" not found message.
Interrogation sees only parent control (yellow panel), not it's child elements (links). Please find a screenshot attached, mouse cursor is not visible but interrogation target is dragged to "Панель Бендера" element.

It is under Tools -> Options -> Pega Robotics -> Runtime Diagnostics. Set Mode for File Publisher to "On. Alternatively, you can enable File Published in RuntimeConfig.xml file in your %appdata%/OpenSpan folder. Runtime log will be created also in %appdata%/OpenSpan by default.
If you have parent control, and your items have fixed positions then you can try to proceed with PerformClick method overload which accepts coordinates (relative to control) as parameters.

Hello Roman,
Can you please try the the ClickByText method that contains the 'strategy' parameter and specify 'SimulateClick'? Image attached.
You can leave distanceFrom, distanceLimit and searchPosition parameters blank. Please let us know the results.

No changes, ClickByText (7 parameters) is still able to highlight but not click the child element (neither InvokeClick nor SimulateClick strategy).
