Checking an Alphanumeric Input

My requirement is to check an alphanumeric Input. Where first letter must be an alphabet followed by 6 digits. Whether it is possible to check using edit validate? I am using Pega 7.2.1

e.g: X123456

Can Anyone help me with this?

Hi Dinesh,

Yes, you can use edit validate to check for an alphanumeric input. Please refer to the attached doc on how to achieve this.
