Check Webservices up or down

Hi,

I would like to check is there any ootp services for checking webservice / server are up or down via webservice? eg ping service or heart beat

and what is the use of prweb/PRRestService/monitor/pingService/ping service?

I am using pega 7.4.

pingService/ping mentioned here is the Pega OOTB health check rest endpoint - normally configured on the load balancer as a health check. It is widely used in pegacloud environment as well.
