Certificate required to consume Restful API

Hi All,

I have requirement to consume restful API.

To consume that API , API team expects dev team to provide certificate for configuration (In order to provide client ID and client key)

We are not sure about what certificate to provide, can anyone help me here please?

Note: We use openspan8.1 version, we convert end solution as a package and install as an exe on end user machine. We dont typically have/use any certificate ideal to Pega/Openspan we just use windows user certificate
