Cassandra Daemon configuration

Hi,

We've just update to 7.2.2 and now we see that Cassandra is a separate process.

By default comes with the following memory settings:

-Xms2965M -Xmx2965M -Xmn741M -XX:+HeapDumpOnOutOfMemoryError -Xss256k

there're guidelines to know if the configuration is correct for our system? where we can change this parameters?

Hi,

You can use prconfig.xml settings to set up the heap memory.
Refer the below link for default values http://docs.datastax.com/en/cassandra/2.1/cassandra/operations/ops_tune_jvm_c.html
To override use

<env name="dnode/cassandra_heap_new_size" value="Specify required value" />

<env name="dnode/cassandra_max_heap_size" value="Your required value" />
