Case Search Based on Geography or Country
Dear ALL,
We have a requirement to Implement case search based on Geographic location/Country. In our current application we are running cases types for different countries . We want that the user of one country should not be able to search the cases of other countries.
We found one of the solution to specialize the pyWorkIDSearch activity in the implementation ruleset of each country. but looking for some more generic or nice solution.
Any suggestions or ideas to implement the same?

Hello,
I think this will require customization. Difficult from you to tell what would be the best design. Don't you have a dedicated country property exposed to filter on it? What Platform version is it?

Hi ArpitM,
You can use property that stores the country/location value on the case at run time by which you identify the geographic location/country of the case (expose column in Db table )and the current requestor/user location/country doing the search.
In a report, Use the filter condition case level property equals user country/location. So only the cases satisfying this condition will be fetched.
