We are trying to add a secondary search node host index node, via the search landing page within Designer Studio.

When adding the node id and the path for the index is supplied and the "save settings" button is clicked. We refresh the screen to see if the changes have taken effect. However the second search node disappears and only the master node remains (nothing changed).

Note that both search type nodes we are putting under search nodes have JVMS param -Dindex.directory defined and we are using this path when "trying" to add the second node. I have looked at other articles which mention prconfig hazelcast configuration that should be removed so I also looked at that and they are not present.

Version for this specific issue is on Pega 8.4.3 

Also if we remove ALL the search index nodes --> save --> refresh then add the secondary node (the node that kept disappearing) as master it joins. The problem seems to be about adding the "secondary" node.

The work index is under "incomplete" status I am curious if this status is part of the main cause.  I don't see anything in the PegaRULES.log or via tracer either.
