Please follow the example here:

1. In your Service-Rest, please configure the custom content type as byte[] and map the property of java object (in my case .Kevinjsondata) to the Clipboard:

3. Finally, in the Service-REST activity, you can wirte code like this - I just used the example to read a zip file and write that to a byte array and then set the above defined property .KevinJsondata to the byte array data:
