Can we use Pega730 prpcUtils.sh to import package into Pega720 DB

As part of automating PEGA package import and export through Jenkins, we are trying to use the prpcUtils.sh that comes with the PEGA platform media. Though this has been working fine for 7.3 onwards, for 7.2, this prprc utility doesn't accept "--propFile" as an argument. In this scenario, is it fine to use a higher version prprc utility for importing/exporting to 7.2 PEGA instance ?

prpcUtils.sh import --propFile
