Can we modify Elastic Search to include user entered filter

We have requirement for user to enter a value for Market and that should be included in the list of filter parameters for OOTB elastic search.

Is this possible and if so how?

I believe it would be safer to add a new button that you associate with your own report definition than modifying the default search.
